G E T T I N G   T H E R E

>> Flying to Glasgow International Airport
If you are flying to Glasgow and arriving at Glasgow Airport the easiest way to get into the city is by Taxi or Shuttle Bus (“Glasgow Flyer”). Glasgow International Airport is located 8 miles (13 kilometres) west of Glasgow City Centre.

The Shuttle Bus (“Glasgow Flyer”) stops at various stops in Glasgow’s City Centre such as Bothwell Street (Central Trail Station), West George Street/West Nile Street, West George Street (Queen St Station), Buchanan Bus Station. West George Street (Queen Street Station) is the closest station to the centre of the town. (More info: www.glasgowflyer.com and in attached schedule).

>> Flying to Preswick International Airport
Preswick Airport is attached to a train line that run to Glasgow Central Station. This Airport is around 33 miles away from Glasgow so taxi is NOT advised. The trains are regular and it takes less than an hour to reach Glasgow from Preswick. There is also a “Stagecoach” bus no. X77 to/from Glasgow Buchanan Street Station. (More: www.gpia.co.uk)

>> Flying to Edinburgh International Airport
If you are arriving at Edinburgh International Airport the best way to get to Glasgow would be by firstly travelling to Waverly Station in Edinburgh’s Centre before taking a train from Waverly Station to Glasgow Queen Street Station. This station is also in the centre of the city.

Venue A: City Halls
address: Candleriggs, Glasgow, G1 1NQ
-> This is where the ARTMUSFAIR activities will take place on 29th and 30th October
-> This is also where the evening symphony concerts take place.

Venue B: RSAM&D (Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama)
address: 100 Renfrew Street, Glasgow G2 3DB
-> This is where the ARTMUSFAIR exihibition and the activities on 31st Oct and 01st Nov take place.

Venue C: Millennium Hotel Glasgow
address: George Square, Glasgow, G2
-> This is where the “ARTMUSFAIR lounge concerts” take place, 29th, 30th, 31st October - starting each night approx. 22.30 pm

Venue D: City Chambers Glasgow
address: Glasgow City G2 9
-> This is where the Civic Reception on 29th October (approx. 17:30 pm) takes place.
